Overview

This is a permanent Night shift role based in Telford. You must hold a CPC/Digicard and FLT license to apply. We are seeking an experienced, motivated and hands-on Transport Night Manager/Class 1 Driver to join our busy site in Telford. The role offers a salary of £36,000 - £38,000 per annum plus bonus and allowances. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday nights, start time 17:30, 52.5 hours per week.

Your Time at Work

This is a key leadership role ensuring the smooth running of our overnight transport operations, guaranteeing deliveries are met on time and in full, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

The Role

• Provide leadership and motivation to your team
• Ensure sufficient staffing levels are always in place
• Using your experience, you will load and shunt vehicles; this is a hands-on management role
• Clear communication to both staff and customers
• Ensure load sheets for the warehouse are correct and all vehicle and trailer maintenance records and requirements are in hand
