Job description
Overview

Reliable and compassionate Care Assistants required for a Care Home situated in the Nottingham NG7 area, specialising in providing care for those with physical and/or dementia related illness.

As a Care Assistant, you will work to empower residents to remain as independent as possible in their nightly routines.

You will aid their mobility and nutritional needs, whilst ensuring that physical and psychological wellbeing is the utmost priority.

Responsibilities
  • Completing domestic tasks
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Taking responsibility for promoting the welfare of the adults in your care
  • Personal care
  • Assisting with feeding/bathing/dressing

Qualifications
  • You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
  • Have a checkable work history
  • Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
  • Have an in date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you

We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants.

This is an ongoing opportunity and rewarding role.

You will be working typically hours on Saturday and Sundays, with your work starting at 22.00 and finishing at 07.00.

You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.55 per hour, plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
