Job Role: Team leader – Nights

Location: 1Johnston Way, Lisburn, BT28 2AQ

Salary: £14.89 per-hour

Hours: 36-hours per week - 3 night per week

Overview

Johnston Way, located in North Lisburn, is a Registered Domiciliary Care Agency and Positive Behaviour Support Service (PBS) which consists of 2 dwellings, each for four people. The service offers a person-centred approach for service-users who have Learning Disabilities and associated needs. The Service operates under the PBS Framework and provides care and support on a 24-hour basis.

Responsibilities

As Team Leader, you will form an important part of the management team and will support the Registered Manager to meet the Domiciliary Care Agencies Regulations (NI) 2007 and the DHSS&PS Domiciliary Care Agency Minimum-Standards. You will support the Registered Manager to develop and implement personalised care/support plans and individual risk-assessments to meet individual needs. With support from the Registered Manager, you will ensure and inspire the delivery of quality care and support everyday. Team leaders will also support with the management budgets and resources. As Team Leader, you will mentor and supervise the Support Team and will provide direct care and support for Service-Users.

Essential Criteria
  1. Professional qualification for example:
    1. Professional Social Work qualification and be registered or eligible for registration on appointment on the NISCC’s register
    2. A first level registered nurse on the appropriate part of the Nursing and Midwifery Council
    3. A qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC
  2. OR
    1. A relevant Degree i.e. Psychology, Social Care AND be registered or eligible for registration on appointment on the NISCC’s register.
  3. OR
    1. A level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent AND be registered or eligible for registration on appointment on the NISCC’s register.
