Job Description

Location(s): Parkside, Maryport

Hourly Rate: £13.05 to £13.26 per hour

The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and/or working conditions of the role.

Available Hours: 2 x 19 hours night shifts and 1 x 0 shifts

Contract: Permanent

About The Role

As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant), you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.

No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development. About Our Home

Parkside is a comfortable, homely, and safe environment which provides 24-hour residential care for the elderly frail.

Working within our Residential Care Service will typically involve working shifts which usually cover between 7 am until 10 pm (days) or 9.30 pm - 7.30 am (nights), over 7 days, 365 days a year. This will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.

DBS

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check.

Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults.
