SUPPORT WORKERS FOR SUPPORTED LIVING

We are looking to recruit day support workers for our supported living houses based in, West Yorkshire area, Castleford, Normanton, Crigglestone, Wrenthorpe, Rothwell

Please note we are only taking full-time support workers with experience in a similar role in the UK for at least 6 months

No sponsorship provided!

The shifts will be from Monday- Sunday

  • WEEK 1 Monday Tuesday Saturday Sunday

Days 07.45am-8pm

Waking Nights 19.45pm-8am

Pay rate starting from £12.50 an hour depending on the location

42 hours per week contract

About you:

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in a similar role is mandatory
  • Willingness to learn.
  • You must be currently resident in the UK

What are your duties as a Support Worker:

Responsabilities include:

  • Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily living
  • Assist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual
  • Provide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignity
  • Observe care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed
  • Assist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care Centre
  • Report on well-being of Residents
  • Clean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etc
