Job summary

Blue Triangle Housing Association is seeking a part-time Support Worker (28 hours per week) at Glasgow Sauchiehall Street to provide safe, supportive accommodation for people experiencing homelessness. The role involves practical and emotional support to help individuals achieve personal outcomes.

You will need to register with the Scottish Social Services Council within 3 months of start date and maintain professional learning.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerable people preferred.
• Commitment to care practice in line with SSSC & National Care Standards.
• Ability to relate empathetically and support independence.
• Willingness to work flexibly as a lone worker.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, secure, supported accommodation with a team.
• Monitor and evaluate progress using the case management system.
• Update records and documentation within required timeframes.
• Plan and facilitate key work meetings and reviews with the support plan.
