Cumberland Council in Wigton is seeking a Night Support Worker for Extra Care Housing. In this role, you will provide physical and emotional care to older adults, enabling them to maintain their independence. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided.

Support older adults to live independently the way they choose. Extra Care Housing provides support to people living within an assisted living community where everyone has their own home environments such as a flat, bungalow or within a retirement village.
As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.
