Job summary

CareTech Community Services in Smethwick is seeking Waking Night Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs at Selborne Mews. Roles are based in the Hadley Telford service but the vacancy can be linked to Smethwick as a bank shift.

You will support individuals during the evening and night, maintain cleanliness, and deliver person-centred care according to individual plans, promoting independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Sector related exeprience in a similar role is essential
• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)

Responsibilities

• To support the individuals during the evening and night with any of their needs this will include personal care.
• To maintain the cleanliness of the service
• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
