Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a Night Support Worker to join our friendly team at Glengarriff House in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire. You will provide companionship and practical support to residents living with learning disabilities and mental health conditions, helping maintain their quality of life and dignity.

Full or part-time roles are available with training provided. Benefits include a fully funded DBS, generous holiday pay, and a Refer a Friend bonus of up to £250.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support worker or Care Assistant is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life that is right for them.
• Provide companionship whilst giving emotional and practical support.
• Assist residents to participate in decisions relating to their daily living arrangements.
• Assist residents with personal care and in undertaking recreational activities.
• Assist residents to retire for the evening and enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep.
• Promote resident independence in meal preparation and mealtimes.
• Work with other professionals to implement individualised care plans.

Prime Life are on the lookout for passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as a Night Support Worker, on a full or part time basis. At present, we have several vacancies available and are keen to meet with candidates as soon as possible for interviews.

This role will be based at Glengarriff House in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire. The home has been specially designed to cater to the every need of 15 residents, living with a range of learning disabilities and mental health conditions that require dignified support from our caring team. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our resident’s individual abilities.

What we’re looking for in our Night Support Worker:

To be successful within this role, you will have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents. Though prior experience as a Support worker or Care Assistant is desirable, this is not essential as full training is provided. Typically, our residents live with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities that require dignified support from our care team. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our resident’s individual abilities.
