Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a Night Support Worker to join our friendly team at Southfield House in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. The role offers full- or part-time hours with compassionate, patient care for residents living with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

Full training is provided, and interviews are being scheduled promptly. Benefits include paid DBS, holiday pay, and a Refer a Friend scheme up to £250.

Qualifications

  • Experience in care roles is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
  • A caring, patient and respectful attitude is required to support residents with diverse needs.
  • Ability to work night shifts and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Encourage residents to maintain a high quality of life.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
  • Support residents in decisions about daily routines and meals.
  • Help residents retire for the night and ensure a comfortable sleep.
  • Promote independence in meal preparation and activities.
  • Collaborate with other professionals on care plans.

Prime Life are on the lookout for passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as a Night Support Worker, on a full or part time basis. At present, we have several vacancies available and are keen to meet with candidates as soon as possible for interviews.

Thisrole will be based at Southfield House, in the heart of Brigg in North Lincolnshire. The home has been specially designed to cater tothe everyneed of 14 residents, living with a range of learning disabilities and mental health conditions and as such require dignified support from our caring team. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our resident's individual abilities.

Responsibilities of our Night Support Worker include:
  • Encouraging residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life that is right for them
  • Providing companionship whilst giving emotional and practical support
  • Assisting residents to participate in any decisions relating to their daily living arrangements
  • Assisting residents with their with personal care and in undertaking recreational activities
  • Assisting residents to retire for the evening and enjoy a comfortable night's sleep
  • Promoting resident independence in the preparation of food and/or at mealtimes
  • Working with other professionals to provide individualised care and development plans
What we’re looking for in our Night Support Worker:

To be successful within this role, you will have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for our residents. Though prior experience as a Support worker or Care Assistant is desirable, this is not essential as full training is provided. Typically, our residents live with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities that require dignified support from our care team. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding and respectful of our resident's individual abilities.
