This hands-on role involves assisting with personal care, preparing meals, and supporting residents in daily activities. As a Support Worker, you will make a real difference in residents' lives by helping to improve their daily living skills. Passionate about people, you will enjoy opportunities to develop your own life and career, gaining experience and training to progress with us.
Where will I be working?
Our services in Thornton provide 24-hour care for adults with Learning Disabilities and additional health issues.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. We are a group of four people with a learning disability who live together and have done so for several years. We each have individual interests but also enjoy spending time together. We need support to participate in activities inside and outside our home. We are looking to welcome two more people who share similar interests and support needs.
Desirable but not essential – experience within the supported living/care sector.
Please note: this service supports people with complex learning disabilities, involving high levels of personal care.
Training and Development
We offer training to develop your skills and competencies, not only in care but in other areas as well:
Training is provided after your probation period of 6 months. You will be supported by a coach throughout your training.
Shift Patterns
This is a night position with shifts from 20:30 to 07:15.

Salary: £23,808 based on 37 hours, £28,995 based on 45 hours, or £12.34 per hour.
