Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is seeking a Supermarket Assistant in Horsham to help deliver excellent customer service and keep our store running smoothly. You will be on the shop floor, restocking shelves, preparing online orders for delivery, and supporting the team with a range of tasks to ensure a clean, well-organised customer environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place for customers.
• Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver to customers’ doors.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and marking down soon-to-expire items.
• Working with the wider shop team to support checkout and Click & Collect orders.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
