Choice Care is seeking a Night Social Care Worker to join one of its residential homes in the Derby area. The role involves shift work, weekends on a rota basis, and training provided to develop skills in health and social care.

All Social Care Workers must have or commit to a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care and demonstrate patience, reliability and flexibility while working within care plans and documenting care activities.

Qualifications

• Must have or commit to undertaking a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Patience, reliability and flexibility are essential in this role.
• Be a strong team player and a good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs.
• Administer medication in line with care plans.
• Engage in daily activities, hobbies, or outings with clients.
• Follow care plans and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain written and electronic daily records and complete training as required.
