Job summary

Brakes, the UK’s leading foodservice supplier, is hiring a Warehouse Operative in Portbury. You’ll join a close-knit, multi‑temperature warehouse team and help pick, pack and prep orders for delivery while ensuring quality and food-safety standards.

Salary £33,687 plus Night shift premium with an OTE of £41,000. Working Sundays to Thursdays nights 19:00–03:30 with 1 in 5 Fridays off. Own transport is required due to limited public transport to site.

Qualifications

• A good eye for detail and accuracy.
• Team-oriented with ability to work with others.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment; ability to lift up to 25kg.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack quality products for customers.
• Replenish stock and prepare orders.
• Load goods onto lorries and ensure proper handling.
• Follow health and food safety procedures.
