Job summary

DPD Group Goole is seeking a dedicated Weekly Depot Operative Nights to join our warehousing team. This role involves night shifts from Sunday to Tuesday, working 00:00–09:30, in a fast-paced, physical environment where accuracy and safety are essential.

You will load, unload, scan and sort parcels, handle items up to 25kg, operate scanners and conveyors, and ensure correct labeling and timely delivery. Training starts Day 1, with uniform and PPE provided, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
