Job summary

DPD is seeking a Warehouse Operative in the Harwell area. You will be on your feet for the full shift, loading, unloading, sorting parcels, and using our tech systems to ensure accurate delivery routes. Full training is provided and uniform plus PPE are supplied.

Hours are 00:00 to 08:30, with a permanent contract and 40-hour working week. The role requires reliability, teamwork and a proactive approach to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic essential for a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Team player who works well with others to hit daily targets.
• Reliable and punctual with good attendance record.
• Able to stay on your feet for long periods and lift up to 25 kg.
• Physical stamina and safety awareness are required.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading, scanning and sorting parcels with precision.
• Handling items up to 25kg and staying active through the shift.
• Using technology systems to ensure parcels reach the right place at the right time.
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyors and handling equipment safely.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping in the warehouse.
