Job summary

Zohorecruit in Eastbourne is seeking a experienced Night Shift Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop. You will service, diagnose and repair 44-tonne diesel vehicles, and occasionally petrol, hybrid and electric models. The role requires strong diagnostic skills, a recognised automotive qualification and preferably IMI Level 3 EV knowledge. Overtime is available.

Based in the Eastbourne workshop, the position offers a stable full-time role with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Experience working on commercial vehicles up to 44 tonnes including buses and coaches.
• Strong diesel servicing, maintenance, repair and diagnostic experience.
• Ideally IMI Level 3 EV qualification.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Experience working independently within a busy workshop environment.
• Professional approach to vehicle safety and quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles up to 44 tonnes including buses and coaches.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out repairs efficiently and to the required standard
• Working predominantly on diesel vehicles
• Working on petrol, hybrid and electric vehicles when required
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
• Ensuring vehicles are maintained safely and professionally
