Responsibilities

  • Log performance feedback and raise any concerns.
  • Plan and adjust delivery routes using Transport Management System.
  • Manage changes caused by driver absences, delays and vehicle issues.
  • Handle breakdowns, delays or discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate system updates for performance tracking.
  • Inform customers about delivery delays or failed drops.
  • Deliver clear updates and handover to the day shift team.

Transport Coordinator - Night Shift

Location: South Marston, Swindon

Hours: Sunday - Thursday 19:00pm - 04:00am

Salary: GBP40,000 per annum

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment business, are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Transport Coordinator to join our clients family business in South Marston.

Our client is a trusted food supplier of food products to foodservice providers, retailers, institutions and manufacturers across the UK and looking for someone to support the smooth running of their transport operations at their South Marston depot during night hours.

The role:

      Logging performance feedback and raising any concerns

Planning and adjusting delivery routes using Transport Management System

Managing changes caused by driver absences, delays and vehicle issues

Handling breakdowns, delays or discrepancies and liaising for cover needed

Recording and escalating any vehicle issues

Ensuring accurate system updates for performance tracking

Informing customers about delivery delays or failed drops

Delivering clear comprehensive updates and handover to the day shift team

May be required to cover sickness or holidays (Class 2 license essential)

About you:

      Experience in a transport office environment

Strong IT skills particularly in Microsoft Excel

Class 2 license

Great communication skills

Proactive and dependable team player
