Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is hiring a Night Shift Train Cleaner at Newton Heath Depot, Greater Manchester. The role pays £14.46 per hour on an initial six-month contract, with the potential to move into a permanent position with full company benefits.

You will help keep trains clean, safe, and ready for service across the North. This is a hands-on night shift role involving deep cleaning of interiors (seating, floors, toilets) using mops, vacuums and cleaning solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning environments such as rail, bus, or industrial settings.
• Ability to pass medical and drug screening per railway standards.
• Willingness to work night shifts and rosters as described.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep and heavy cleaning of train interiors to a high standard.
• Ensure trains are clean, safe and ready for passenger service.
• Work night shifts (20:00–04:45) and follow roster patterns (5 on/4 off or similar).
