Job description:

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing support to various departments, and facilitating effective communication within the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid background in administrative tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

The candidate must be able to communicate effectively, be highly organised and remain focused under pressure. They must take control of tracking of movement of goods from A to B and keep customers informed. Must always be in full control and be able to communicate at the highest level. Must have a can-do attitude and take pride in the job, ideally with some transport / logistic experience.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate administration and provide support to various departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Track movement of goods from origin to destination and keep customers informed.
  • Communicate at a high level and maintain clear, proactive communication under pressure.
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude and take pride in the role, ideally with transport/logistics experience.
  • Work with one or two colleagues during night shifts in a busy environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Good attitude and attention to detail.
  • Ideally have a transport background (UK/EU or worldwide).
  • Experience working in a busy environment and ability to handle stressful situations (line stoppage risks and high-profile shipments).
  • Experience: Logistics Tracking: 3 years (required).

Hours of work: Friday to Monday night starting at 19:00 through to 07:00 the following morning (4-day working with a 1-hour unpaid break totaling 44 hours per week)
