Job summary

McQueens Dairies is seeking a Team Leader to oversee a pod of five drivers during night shifts. You will coach, monitor KPI performance, and ensure safe, timely deliveries while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

With strong leadership and HSE knowledge, you will train new drivers, support holiday cover and report risks. A full driving licence and the ability to drive change within depot operations are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team in a fast-paced delivery environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices and compliance.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop staff while meeting KPI targets.
• Excellent communication, time-management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pod of five drivers, coach for performance and safety.
• Lead weekly KPI meetings and monitor driver behaviour and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate training for new drivers and cover for absences.
• Promote safe driving, on-time deliveries and high service standards.
• Manage housekeeping, risk reporting and toolbox talks with management.
