Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Harborne is recruiting a Supermarket Assistant to provide partner-led service and food passion. You will stock shelves, fulfil online orders, and help run the shop with a flexible, team‑oriented approach.

A night premium applies for working 22:00–06:00 and across enhanced hours arrangements where relevant. The role is part-time (15 hours) over seven days, with a starting pay of £13.00 per hour and £13.25 after 90 days.

• Essential: clear communication to work with customers and team.
• Desirable: experience in a customer facing role.
• Desirable: interest in food and drink trends.
• Desirable: flexible approach to support the branch.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and in the right place.
• Fulfil online orders for drivers to deliver to customers.
• Reduce wastage through due diligence and markdowns.
• Support wider shop team including checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe, tidy working environment.
