Job summary

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd is seeking two experienced Site Supervisors to support a Tier 1 highways contractor delivering drainage works on the M65 corridor in East Lancashire. You will oversee night-shift delivery of drainage activities, ensuring gangs and subcontractors work safely, productively and in line with programme and client requirements.

The role requires hands-on supervision of direct labour, drainage gangs and subcontractors, coordination of daily works, RAMS and permits,

Qualifications

Experience as Site Supervisor or Foreman on highways projects.
Strong drainage experience, preferably motorway or live carriageway.
Able to supervise night shifts and coordinate multiple gangs.
Valid CSCS and SSSTS or SMSTS.
NRSWA, NHSS and First Aid qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Supervise direct labour, drainage gangs and subcontractors on night shifts.
Coordinate daily works, labour, plant, materials and traffic-management interfaces.
Ensure works are completed safely and in line with RAMS, permits and quality standards.
Carry out site briefings, toolbox talks, checks and progress reporting.
Monitor drainage installation, excavation, reinstatement and associated highways works.
Liaise with the Site Agent, engineers, client team and supply chain to resolve issues quickly.
Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, inspections, quality paperwork and completed works.
