Job summary

Avon Search is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for a luxury dementia care home in Fareham, Hampshire. You will lead the night shift, ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable and well cared for, with a focus on dignity and wellbeing.

The role offers full-time night hours, ongoing training and a supportive team in a specialist setting. You will monitor wellbeing, document care, and support residents through overnight routines.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience in a senior care role within a residential setting.
• Experience supporting older people and individuals living with dementia.
• Medication administration experience or relevant training.
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and supporting care staff during night shifts.
• Delivering high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
• Supporting residents with personal care and overnight routines.
• Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
