Job summary

Rich Products UK is seeking a Hygiene/Cleaning Operative for the night shift (1900–0700, Fri and Sat, 12-hour shifts). The role focuses on maintaining hygiene standards in manufacturing areas, following cleaning instructions, and handling chemicals safely.

The position includes base pay of £16,846 per year plus £1,200 per year shift pay. Applicants should have numeracy and good communication skills; food manufacturing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hygiene standards in manufacturing areas are maintained and cleaning activities follow instructions.
• Prepare and dilute cleaning chemicals safely and use correct equipment for tasks.
• Maintain cleaning records and report any non-conformities to the Technical Services Manager.
• Hand back areas/equipment once work is completed and approved as fit for purpose.
