Job summary

Rullion is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Heavy Gang - Nights) to join a modern rolling stock maintenance depot in Derby. You will perform scheduled, preventative and corrective maintenance on rolling stock, ensuring safety and standards are met.

The role requires fault-finding, assistance with modifications, and occasional overnight stays away from base. An apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 are expected, with experience in a 24/7 railway environment highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience in a 24/7 rolling stock maintenance environment.
• Able to fault-find and repair rolling stock.
• Completed apprenticeship in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
• NVQ Level 3 Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance, servicing and examinations on rolling stock.
• Fault-find and complete basic repairs and rectification work.
• Support train modifications and campaigns.
• Undertake depot driving duties where required.
• Record maintenance activities in MMS.
