Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory therapy, life support, and patient care under physician prescription and supervision. The role includes shift work on the overnight schedule with a sign-on bonus and full-time benefits.

Responsibilities cover monitoring, equipment checks, emergency care, and collaboration with physicians to deliver high-quality care. A NH license and CPR within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Post Secondary Education or equivalent in a directly related field
• 1 to 3 years of directly related experience
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license (NH); CRT/RRT credential
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs all functions within the scope of practice as ordered by the physician.
• Monitors environmental and life support systems.
• Observes patients, checks equipment and makes changes as necessary during patient rounds.
• Performs emergency care.
• Assists physicians as directed.
• Maintains established departmental policies, procedures, objectives and quality assurance.
