Job summary

Skycare is seeking a Registered General Nurse for our Birkenhead area nursing home. This full-time role covers night shifts (8pm–8am), 12-hour rotations, with a pay rate of £19.5–£20.5 per hour and paid breaks.

You will join a supportive team delivering personalised care to 82 beds, with induction and ongoing professional development. We require an RGN/RMN with care-home experience, strong communication, and an active NMC PIN.

Qualifications

• An RGN or RMN with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.
• Kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering high-quality care.
• Excellent communication skills.
• UK Registered Nurse qualification (RGN) and active UK NMC PIN.
• Clear DBS and two satisfactory references.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and administer medication to residents as prescribed, maintaining records.
• Carry out stock control and ordering of residents' prescribed medication and medical products.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, COSHH, and all relevant standards and regulations.
