Join Our Team as a Night Shift Quality Inspector at Multax

Location: Andover, Hampshire

The Role:

• Inspect Components: Ensure components meet specifications using route cards, customer drawings, and instructions.
• Identify Non-Conforming Products: Identify non-conforming products, materials, or processes and raise issues in a timely manner. Ensure all non-conformance reports (NCRs) are properly documented and that corrective actions are tracked and closed.
• Precision Measurement: Use manual tools like height gauges, verniers, and shadow graphs.
• Documentation: Create quality documentation including First Article Inspection, NCRs, and critical dimensions reports.
• Communication: Effectively communicate inspection results and deviations to the machining team.
• Team Player: Thrive in a fast-paced machine shop and inspection environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Mechanical engineering background with inspection experience using manual handheld tools.
• CMM Skills: Experience with CMM programming and inspecting complex components is essential.
• Technical Savvy: Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Quality Focus: Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems and ISIR/FAIR requirements.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to interact with internal teams and external customers.

The Package:

• Night Shift: Monday – Thursday 6pm-04.30am (40hrs a week)
• Competitive Salary: Night shift carries a premium shift uplift of x 1.333. Additional overtime also available.
• Benefits: 25 days holiday (Pro Rata equivalent 20 days), private medical insurance, 3x death in service, and pension contributions.
