Job summary

Hunters Recruitment Ltd in Littlehampton is seeking a Production Quality Controller to join a busy manufacturing environment. The role involves verifying production, completing quality control checks and related paperwork.

You will work alongside the Mould Shop Supervisor, performing hourly patrols, labelling, training staff on quality standards, and ensuring calibration of equipment. Full training provided; temp to perm after 12 weeks via agency.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and a highly observant approach.
• A methodical and organised approach to your work.
• The ability to take accurate measurements and record figures correctly.
• Confidence to raise production or quality concerns with supervisors and production workers.
• Good communication skills.
• The ability to motivate others and encourage high standards of quality.
• Good report-writing and record-keeping skills would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Verify production and complete all required quality control checks and paperwork.
• Carry out hourly patrols, including testing and measuring where required.
• Ensure all parts and jobs are correctly labelled from entry into the mould shop through to completion.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and ensure these are adhered to.
• Train production staff on product criteria and quality acceptance standards.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of shift production.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and within designated timescales.
• Ensure all equipment used is within calibration.
• Identify and report any deviations, defects or non-conformances.
• Work closely with supervisors and production staff to resolve quality concerns.
