The Role:

Checking quality requirements for all products manufactured by Deli Lites, ensuring that products are manufactured in line with Product Specifications, Food Safety, Food Legality, and Factory Hygiene Standards. Reporting any NCRs and GMP issues.

Your Duties:

• To conduct your duties in a manner that safeguards your own safety and the safety of others.
• Support the Deli Lites Quality Team.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures for Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene.
• Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to your Quality Supervisor and/or Production Supervisor.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
• Complete paperwork and records of checks, including weight checks, temperature checks, label checks, metal detection, and checkweigher checks where required.
• Communicate any Internal and Supplier Non-Conformances through the Daily Quality Reports.
• Maintain measurement equipment by following operating instructions and reporting repairs needed.
• Support the production team to prevent the use of sub-standard ingredients and ensure only safe, high-quality products leave the site.
• Assist the NPD and Production teams during production trials.
• Report issues that may compromise food safety, legality, or quality to the quality manager/supervisor.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by your Quality Supervisor, Quality Manager, or Technical Manager.
