Your new employer...
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Night Shift Production Supervisor. This role is working within a 24 hour operation and requires a mechanically minded individual.
Your new role:
- Supervise production operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
- Manage the business in a safe manner and ensure all personnel adhere to the company WHS policies.
- Work in conjunction with training personnel and provide a training plan to the business that helps support growth in both talent & skills.
- Conduct employee reviews, eg performance quality, attendance, attitude, general skills, safety in accordance with company requirements and as they arise.
- Coordinate the shift schedules including work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime, and back-up for absent employees.
- Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
- Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing that is managed within the operational budget levels.
- Schedule and conduct shift toolbox meetings.
- Responsible to meet shift production goals.
About You:
- Ability to solve complex and critical problems in Operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical ability to learn a fast-paced injection moulding plastics manufacturing process.
- Good knowledge in manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of people management and supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Intermediate level MS Office.
