Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, is hiring for a physically demanding role in Carlisle. You will unload and load parcels, sort them to correct routes, and help prepare trailers for drivers. You’ll deliver a friendly, dependable service for customers and colleagues.

The role offers a starting salary of £25,201 per year, with potential to earn up to £30,000 including overtime, plus weekend premiums and other allowances. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B) is required.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable, customer-focused and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Unload/Load parcels and sort them for delivery routes.
• Prepare trailers and assist with onward transport.
• Provide a friendly, dependable service for customers and colleagues.
