Job summary

Disability North in Gateshead is urgently seeking experienced Paediatric Nurses to provide round-the-clock care for a young boy in a family home and community settings. Roles include night shifts 12 hours (8pm–8am) with an hourly rate of £31, and both part-time and full-time options.

The role requires at least 1 year of paediatric/adult nursing experience, with skills in tracheostomy care, enteral feeding, suction, medication administration, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in paediatric/adult nursing with the listed care tasks.
• Tracheostomy care, enteral feeding, suction, medication administration, pain management.
• Registered Nurse with full awareness of the NMC code of professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care in the family home and in the community.
• Work as part of a wider healthcare team.
• Maintain round-the-clock monitoring and support for Zac.
