Job summary

Stafforce-Recruitment in Scunthorpe is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to support our busy industrial operation. You will safely lift, move, and position steel products using overhead and gantry cranes, working with slingers and signallers.

The role offers Monday to Friday, 18:00-02:00, £15.01-£15.46 per hour plus a shift allowance of £21.91 per shift. You must have crane-operating certification (RTITB/NPORS/CPCS) and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Overhead/gantry crane experience required.
• Knowledge of safe lifting operations and crane controls.
• Strong focus on safety and load capacities.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead and gantry cranes to lift and position steel products safely.
• Conduct pre-use inspections of cranes and lifting equipment.
• Follow lifting plans and load limits; adhere to procedures.
• Communicate with slingers, signallers and site personnel.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Meet targets while complying with safety standards.
