Job summary

SER Limited in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland, seeks an experienced Skilled Welder for a night shift. The role focuses on MIG welding to a high standard, with the ability to read engineering drawings (including AutoCAD) and perform in-process quality checks.

You will work four nights per week (Mon-Thu) from 4:45pm to 3:15am, with overtime opportunities. The position offers a competitive hourly rate with a 10% night-shift premium.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings; ability to interpret AutoCAD drawings.
• Skilled MIG welder with ability to produce high-quality welds to specifications.
• Experience conducting in-process quality checks and adhering to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and AutoCAD drawings.
• MIG weld to high standard using three-phase MIG welding equipment.
• Produce high-quality welds in line with company specifications.
• Operate workshop machinery, hand tools and power tools.
• Carry out in-process quality checks and identify welding defects.
• Work to production and efficiency targets and follow production processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow health & safety procedures.
