Job summary

Activate Group is seeking a Night Shift MET Technician at our AAR Leeds site to remove damaged components, refit repaired parts and ensure high-quality work within manufacturer times.

The role is permanent, full-time, 44 hours per week (6pm–6am, Mon–Thu). ATA or NVQ Level 3 preferred; strong communication and health and safety awareness essential. Benefits include night shift allowance, holidays, health plan and more.

Qualifications

• ATA or NVQ Level 3 certification
• Good communication skills

• Good Health and Safety knowledge and awareness
• Good time management skills
• Relevant industry experience and time served as a repair technician

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the work detailed in the estimate, removing damaged components from the vehicle ready for repair or paint work
• Refitting repaired or replacement components, restoring the vehicle to pre-accident condition
• Delivering the highest standard of quality on every job
• Achieving manufacturer and/or estimated repair times
• Reporting all faults and defects noticed while working on vehicles
• Accurately recording all components, materials and consumables used
