Job summary

Response Personnel Ltd is recruiting a Materials Handler for a permanent position in Dunstable. You will replenish materials to production lines, manage stock levels, update visual management tools and help minimise downtime to maximise shop floor productivity.

The role requires a strong focus on health and safety, accurate stock handling, and effective communication with line workers and management. Weekly hours include evenings; salary is £44,555 inclusive of shift allowance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure environmental health and safety policies are followed and a clean, safe workplace.
• Replenish stock by delivering materials to workstations along a fixed route.
• Move finished products to the next stage of production.
• Collect and dispose of waste to maintain 5S housekeeping.
• Update visual management boards to reflect inventory and production status.
• Assist with tooling changes, problem solving, and minor issues to prevent downtime.
• Monitor inventory levels and use ERP systems to record stock movements and counts.
