Job summary

GPS Recruitment in Halifax is seeking an experienced Night Shift Manager to oversee the night shift operations at a West Yorkshire manufacturing site. The role focuses on delivering production targets, maintaining quality, and ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will lead a night production team, manage staffing and performance, monitor downtime and waste, and collaborate with engineering to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience within manufacturing.
• Strong people-management and leadership skills.
• Confident managing a busy production environment.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and manufacturing KPIs.
• Hands-on, practical approach with the ability to make decisions.

Night Shift Manager - Manufacturing

Location: Halifax

Salary: £45,000

Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00pm-6:00am (Permanent Nights)

Our established manufacturing client is looking for an experienced Night Shift Manager to take responsibility for their night shift operation.

The Role

The Person
