Evo Personnel are acting as an employment agency, and we are looking to recruit a Night Shift Manager for our prestigious Manufacturing client in the Blackburn area.

Day Shift

Monday - Thursday 19:00 - 07:00.

44 hours per week.

Requirements
  • Lead a team of Production Operatives.
  • Mentor, develop and grow the team.
  • Induct and train new members of staff.
  • Oversee the operation on the night shift.
  • Previous experience of managing team performance and KPIs.
  • Ensure the team is producing quality products.
  • Increase production efficiency.
  • Report machine issues to the engineering department.
  • Have a hands-on approach to operations.
  • Manage process documentation and administration.
  • Have a strong understanding of Health & Safety.
  • Possess a strong understanding of IT.
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will be required to lead a team, support development within the team, and build rapport with new and existing team members to push production forward. You’ll be involved with operations, ensure quality products are being manufactured, and have a hands-on approach to meet deadlines. You should be able to implement progressive ways of working to enhance efficiencies and collaborate closely with other departments.

The ideal candidate will be process-driven, a great people person, and experienced enough to support growth in a forward-thinking company.
