Job summary

Accord Healthcare is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for the night shift in Barnstaple, Devon, supporting the Packing department with installation, commissioning, maintenance and improvements of electrical and mechanical equipment.

You will work to high safety and quality standards, liaising with contractors and suppliers to deliver reliable uptime and continuous improvement across the production cycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar engineering maintenance role in a regulated environment.
• Excellent English communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and modify electrical and mechanical equipment and site service systems in the pharmaceutical production cycle.
• Drive Continuous Improvement to improve machinery efficiency, reliability and performance.
• Liaise with contractors, engineering specialists, manufacturers and suppliers as required.
• Develop cost-effective solutions to minimise downtime and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, PUWER, LTV and related regulations.
