Job summary

hireful in Nantwich is seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing facility supplying animal feed across the UK. You’ll own planned preventive maintenance and reactive breakdowns, working with motors, drives, PLC-controlled systems, conveyors and packaging equipment.

Nights only, with potential day shifts when starting to onboard. You’ll be responsible for maximising reliability, minimising downtime and driving continuous improvement, with benefits including

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills with PLC experience desirable.
• Proven maintenance background in manufacturing or FMCG environments.

Responsibilities

• Hold ownership of planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns.
• Work with motors, drives and PLC-controlled systems, conveyors and packaging equipment.
• Maximise reliability, minimise downtime and drive continuous improvement.
