Maintenance Engineer - Night Shift | St Helens, Merseyside

• Location: Alexandra Warehouse, WA10 3LR
• Hours: 10-hour night shifts, 5 nights a week (20:00-06:00, 1-hour unpaid break)

• Key Responsibilities
• Perform nightly engineering checks (fire-watch, guard checks, machine checks, emergency stops)
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on systems and machinery including conveyors, crushers, optical sorters, and motors
• Respond to breakdowns and complete work orders
• Report defects and suggest process improvements to reduce downtime
• What We're Looking For
• Essential:
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working with conveyors
