Job summary

Reach plc is seeking reliable, hands-on individuals for a 4 on 4 off night shift role in our print operations. You will train with experienced colleagues to master high-speed production machinery and support a busy production line, with opportunities to advance as you gain experience.

The role emphasizes practical work, teamwork and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment. We value learning, reliability and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Eager to learn and progress within the print industry.
• Practical mindset for hands-on equipment work.
• Reliable team player who meets deadlines.
• Ambitious and prepared to cover for the No.2 Printer as experience grows.
• Experience in press operations is desirable.
• FLT trained with a grab truck qualification is desirable.
• Understanding of lean principles and tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Training: set rollers and operate Wifag Reel stands and strip stations.
• Quality Excellence: ensure products meet high standards and flag issues.
• Problem Solving: troubleshoot mechanical or material issues with the team.
• Workflow Support: pre- and post-run checks, keep schedule on track.
• Team Collaboration: liaising with No.2 Printer and Shift Managers.
• Safety & Environment: maintain a clean, safe workspace per site policies.
