Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a Machine Minder / Machine Operator to monitor the production process of primary poultry products and ensure it meets product and customer specifications within tight deadlines.

The role involves setting up and operating process machinery, working nights (Sunday to Thursday, 22:00-06:30), and liaising with the Operations Team Lead and other staff to achieve targets. Location: Ashbourne, UK.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills.
• Interest in maintenance and machinery.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate production machinery to meet targets and quality standards.
• Set up and run process equipment and liaise with operatives and supervisory staff.
• Complete pre-start checks and paperwork accurately; maintain records.
• Work nights in a team and support animal welfare and site procedures.
