Job summary

Cogentuk in the United Kingdom is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the production team on a permanent night shift (21:45–06:15). The role covers semen assessment, media preparation, and operation of flow cytometry sorters, with a £2,000 shift premium added to the base salary.

You will ensure accurate record-keeping and support equipment maintenance. The position requires adherence to SOPs and quality standards, the ability to work autonomously, and strong collaboration within the lab team

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work on a night shift.
• Willingness to operate flow cytometry equipment.
• Good record-keeping and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health and safety directives and SOPs.
• Operate production flow cytometry sorters and media prep.
• Maintain GxP standards for flow cytometers and lab areas.
• Record results accurately and report deviations to line manager.
• Maintain instruments and collaborate with team to maximise production.
• Perform additional duties as required.
