About the role:

Owlvue is a third-party aftermarket installation company providing technical engineering services for the installation, service, and maintenance of 12v & 24v equipment, such as:

• CCTV - Dashcam & Multi-channel (DVR)
• Safety systems - DVS / PSS
• Lighting solutions - Lightbars, Beacons, Flashers, Banksman lights, PIR, etc.
• Temperature monitoring solutions - Temp probes / Transcan
• TPMS
• Tacho Solutions - Remote Tacho Download

Founded in South Wales, Owlvue has a strong engineering heritage and is expanding its services. One of these services is a newly formed night shift engineering department, which is in high demand and now requires additional skilled engineers.

We are seeking field-based engineers in the following location:

• North West - Manchester / Liverpool (M6 Corridor) - (1 x Engineer)

We offer two shift patterns, each with different salaries: 4 on 4 off or Monday-Thursday, each requiring a 10-hour shift, 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installation: on-site installation, service, configuration, and testing of equipment and systems according to specifications and standards.
• Quality Assurance: ensure installations meet guidelines and industry standards.
• Compliance & Safety: adhere to H&S standards and site instructions.
• Operational excellence: troubleshoot technical issues and ensure first-time fix.

Required skills, experience & attributes:

• Adherence to timekeeping and onsite schedules.
• Experience with automotive electrical systems (12 & 24v).
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with customers and end users respectfully.
• Ability to follow company regulations and lead by example.
• Professional appearance and responsible use of company assets.
