About the role:

Owlvue are a 3rd party aftermarket installation company, providing technical engineering services for the installation, service and maintenance of 12v & 24v equipment, such as;

• CCTV - Dashcam & Multi channel (DVR)
• Safety systems - DVS / PSS
• Lighting solutions - Lightbars, Beacons, Flashers, Banksman lights, PIR etc
• Temperature monitoring solutions - Temp probes / Transcan
• TPMS
• Tacho Solutions - Remote Tacho Download.

Born in South Wales, Owlvue has a strong engineering heritage and is further building / expanding on the services we can provide. One of these services is a newly formed night shift engineering department which is proving popular and under great demand and now requires further skilled individuals to join the team.

As a field based engineer, we are looking for our future team members to be situated in the following locations:

• North West - Manchester / Liverpool (M6 Corridor) - ( 1 x Engineer)

We can offer two different shift patterns with each offering differing salaries; 4 on 4 off or Mon-Thurs only each requiring a 10hr shift, 40hr week.

As a field based engineer your key responsibilities will include:

• Installation; on-site installation / service, configuration, and testing of equipment and systems to meet strict specifications and internal standards.
• Quality Assurance; ensuring installations meet specifications guidelines and follow all industry standards.
• Compliance & Safety; adherence to all H&S standards & site specific instructions.
• Operational excellence; troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring first time fix.

To meet the above responsibilities, the following skills, experience & attributes are required:

• Timekeeping - Able to adhere to the designated onsite times and job times.
• Experienced engineer with a knowledge of automotive electrical systems (12 & 24v)
• Excellent communicator at all levels, able to engage with customers and end users in accordance and full respect of the Owlvue client and fitted solution.
• Able to adhere to company regulations and lead by example in all situations.
• Takes pride in self appearance and representation of the company and any assets within their control i.e. company vehicle, customers vehicle, company property etc.
