Job summary

Saputo Inc. is seeking a Hygiene Supervisor in a regulated production environment to lead a team of hygiene operatives (8–12), drive sanitation excellence, and uphold GMP, safety and quality standards across the site.

You will manage external services, implement ATP testing and allergen controls, lead internal audits, and collaborate with production and engineering on continuous Hygiene improvements. Shift: Monday–Friday 18:00–02:40.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hygiene teams in regulated production/manufacturing.
• Understanding of verification and validation of hygiene.
• Proven ability to train and develop a high-performing team.
• Track record of driving improvements in hygiene/technical teams.
• Knowledge of internal audit processes and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the hygiene operatives team (8–12).
• Lead validation and verification of hygiene activities.
• Contribute to internal audits and implement actions.
• Ensure health and safety practices are followed.
• Implement ATP testing and allergen controls.
• Lead investigations of out-of-spec hygiene results and drive for improvements.
• Keep CICs and SOPs up to date and trained on the floor.
• Ensure production facilities meet hygiene and GMP standards.
• Maintain an effective listeria management plan.
• Collaborate with production and engineering on hygiene/H&S issues.
