Job summary

Scania Maidstone is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor for the HGV workshop to lead a team of skilled technicians and guide daily operations. The role focuses on delivering efficient service, mentoring apprentices, and maintaining high safety standards during night-time operations.

You will oversee productivity, provide hands-on technical guidance, and ensure work is thoroughly checked before warranty submission, while promoting a positive team environment.

• Proven workshop management experience.
• Experience leading a team of technicians.
• Commitment to Health and Safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and organise the workshop team whilst managing productivity and efficiencies.
• Be the go-to for any support required for Technician and workshop staff.
• Provide technical knowledge to your team of technicians as well as customers when required.
• Ensure all work is authorised to a high standard.
• Promote high standards on job card write up to prevent warranty rejections.
• Mentor apprentices to empower them to become the future of tomorrow.
